Who Selvatico is
This place did not begin today. It existed long before we decided to call it Selvatico. It has been a warehouse, a pantry and a small butcher's shop. A useful place, open to people's needs, whose purpose was never entirely defined. Perhaps that is precisely what made it feel alive from the very beginning.
We follow the rhythm of the seasons and the land. Where experience matters more than appearance.
People came in, went out and stayed awhile. They met, talked and lost track of time. A familiar room, able to hold stories, silences and friendships. It was not a perfect place. It was a real one.
We are not here simply to run a business: we are here to preserve an atmosphere. Selvatico grew out of our families and our desire to keep this space free, convivial and authentic. We do not want to create a perfect place. We want to create an honest one.
